Everything you need to put the belt on, plug it in, and get the settings right. If you're setting up for the first time, start at Section 1. If you've already been using the belt and something isn't working the way you expect, jump straight to Troubleshooting.
The panel with the red heating element goes against your hip. The long strap on top is the waist strap. The shorter strap at the bottom wraps around your thigh.
Every strap fastens with velcro — putting it on takes about 15 seconds.
Feed the waist strap through the buckle on the side of the belt.
Pull the strap through and press the velcro end down to secure it.
Bring the belt around your waist so the heating panel sits directly over the outer part of your hip — the spot where you feel the ache. The waist strap should sit at your natural waistline.Bring the other end of the waist strap across your lower back and press the velcro firmly onto the main body of the belt.
Press one end of the thigh strap onto the outer side of the belt at the bottom. Then wrap it around the back of your upper thigh and press the other end onto the belt on the opposite side.
You want firm compression — snug enough that the belt stays put when you sit down, but not so tight that it pinches or leaves a mark.
Take the wall adapter that came in the box and plug it into any standard outlet.
Plug the other end of the cable into the port on the side of the belt. It'll click gently into place.
The controller sits inline on the cable you'll use it to run your session in the next step.
Fifteen minutes, plugged in, in one spot. That's the deal. Pick somewhere you actually like sitting — this isn't a workout, it's the part of the day where the ache lets up.
Your controller has three buttons — TEMP, SPA, and TIME — and a row of colored lights that show you what's currently running.
The belt starts off. TEMP turns on the heat and far-infrared together. SPA turns on the vibration massage and pulsing compression together. TIME sets how long the belt runs before shutting off.
Use heat, use the massage, or use both together. It's up to you.
Press TEMP once to turn on the heat and far-infrared elements together. Each press cycles through the levels:
LOW (green) — a gentle warmth
MIDDLE (blue) — where most people settle
HIGH (red) — deep, therapeutic warmth
Start on LOW for your first session. You can always turn it up.
Press SPA once to turn on the vibration massage and pulsing compression together. Each press cycles through the modes:
SLE (green) — Sleep mode, gentle
CMFY (blue) — Comfort mode, medium
VS (red) — the strongest setting
SLE is a good place to start. If you prefer heat on its own without the massage, just leave SPA off — the two buttons run independently.
Press TIME to set how long the belt runs before shutting off automatically:
15 min (green) — our recommended session length
30 min (blue) — a longer session
60 min (blue) — the maximum timed session
HOLD (red) — no auto shutoff (not recommended for regular use)
We recommend 15 minutes per session, one to two times a day. Fifteen minutes is enough for the heat and far-infrared to reach the deep tissue where the ache lives.
A note on getting started
The belt does its real work gradually. Most people notice the biggest relief after three to four weeks of consistent daily use — that's when the cumulative effect of the heat, far-infrared, and deep tissue work really starts to show up. The first week or two is your body getting used to the sensation and starting the process. The breakthrough usually comes later.
That's why we recommend ramping up slowly instead of going straight to the strongest settings. HIGH and VS are there for when your body has adjusted — they're not the shortcut.
Here's the progression we recommend:
Week 1 — Get used to it
Let your body get familiar with the sensation. LOW is a gentle warmth — you should finish the session feeling loose, not cooked. If SLE feels like too much on Day 1, leave SPA off and just use the heat.
Week 2 — Build up
By now the sensation should feel familiar. MIDDLE is where most people settle for daily use — deep warmth without being overwhelming. CMFY steps up the massage intensity a notch.
Week 3 and 4 — Where the real results show up
This is the window where most people report the biggest change — the ache easing off between sessions, sleeping through the night, getting up from the couch without bracing. Stay consistent. Miss a day and you'll still be fine; miss a week and you'll lose some of what you've built.
HIGH and VS aren't necessary for everyone. Some people stay on MIDDLE / CMFY forever and get excellent results. Use the strongest settings on days when the ache is worst, and dial back on days when it's not.
A note on frequency
Two sessions a day is the sweet spot for most people — one in the morning to loosen overnight stiffness, one in the evening to release the day's tension. More than three sessions in a 24-hour window doesn't do more.
Most people notice the biggest relief after three to four weeks of consistent daily use. Some people feel a difference from the first session — the warmth is immediate and the ache eases while the belt is on. But the lasting change, the kind that carries through the day, tends to build up over weeks, not days. Stick with it.

No. Start on LOW for your first week and work your way up. HIGH is there for when your body has adjusted — it's not the shortcut. Most people settle at MIDDLE for daily use.
No. The TEMP and SPA buttons run independently. Use heat on its own, vibration on its own, or both together. Whatever feels best for you.
Whichever hip is bothering you. If both hips ache, do one session on each side rather than trying to cover both at once.
Usually it's positioning. The panel should sit on the outer hip, not the outer thigh. Move the belt higher and wrap the thigh strap firmly enough that two fingers just fit underneath.
The belt has to stay plugged in during use, so it's designed for stationary sessions — sitting or lying down. Pick a comfortable spot near an outlet.
Yes. There's nothing in the belt that's specific to one user. The straps are adjustable, so it works across body sizes.
